Temple Street Dental Practice is a modern and welcoming dental practice located in St Clements, Oxford. Our experienced and friendly dentists and staff provide both Private and NHS treatment, as well as implants and endodontic services.

As a practice, we are big on development, having grown from two surgeries to seven surgeries, but importantly supporting and nurturing the whole team.

We are a mixed practice, but predominantly private, the successful candidate will be getting an established patient list.

Role Description

We are seeking a Private Dentist for a full-time on-site position in our Oxford office. The successful candidate will provide Private treatments to patients.. In addition, the Dentist will maintain accurate and complete patient records, communicate treatment plans to patients, and work collaboratively with our team of dental professionals.

Qualifications

  • General Dentistry skills, including extraction, restoration, and prophylaxis
  • Specialised dental services skills, such as implant placement and restoration, endodontic treatment, and periodontal treatment
  • Ability to communicate treatment plans and recommendations to patients in a clear and compassionate manner
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
  • Experience in a dental office preferred
  • Active Performer Number

What do we offer

As a practice, we are big on development, having grown significantly but importantly supporting and nurturing the whole team. We are a mixed practice, but predominantly private, the successful candidate will be getting an established patient list with the odd new patients.

We have a long wait, of over 2 months for any new patients.

We work in a shift system, from 0800 to1400 or 1400 to 2000.

You'll be expected to do 5 sessions per week. This will allow a good work life balance.

The practice is fully computerised with other mod cons including Itero scanner, fully digitalised radiography, rotary endo, IV sedation, microscope, and air-conditioned surgeries.

You'll be working in a supportive environment, with a principal and team that believe in growing and learning.

You'll benefit from experience of ILM L7 mentor, Thames Valley GDP appraiser and an FD trainer.

In addition we have regular peer review meetings to discuss clinical cases and other aspects of dentistry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £80,000.00-£250,000.00 per year
