Job Description
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and using dental materials.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following standard protocols to maintain patient safety.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
- Manage patient records by updating information, scheduling appointments, and handling billing/insurance processes.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies; reorder as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve office procedures and patient care.
