Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part Time/Full Time Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health.

Duties

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums using medical techniques
• Diagnose dental issues and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Collaborate with Dental Therapists and assistants to ensure a smooth workflow in the clinic
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education
• Established Practice Plan Membership list

Experience

• A recognised degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to dental health
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients clearly
• A compassionate approach towards patient care, ensuring comfort throughout treatments

The Practice is located in Gateshead within easy reach of local transport systems such as Rail & Bus and main Motorway and Newcastle City Centre.

UDA availability, depending on the days worked will be discussed at the interview. A private Practice Plan list is also available.

££ UDA + 50% private work, & 50% split lab fees. ~(Please ignore Indeeds financial information)

Long established independently owned mixed NHS/private practice with NHS contract and expanding private income.

Equipment includes digital intra-oral in each surgery, fibre-optics and wave rotary endo units etc.

Full support from a great and experienced team, including Dental Therapist's.
