Job Title: Dynamic Pediatric Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, hardworking, and positive-minded Pediatric Dental Assistant/Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support in pediatric dental care, ensuring young patients feel safe and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pediatric dentist during procedures and ensure smooth workflow.

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.

• Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety.

• Set up and manage nitrous oxide sedation as per DHA regulations.

• Provide post-treatment care instructions to parents and caregivers.

• Engage with children using positive reinforcement techniques to ease dental anxiety.

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and coordination.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• DHA license or eligibility as a Dental Assistant/Nurse.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pediatric dental setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, sterilization, and infection control.

• Experience with nitrous oxide sedation and behavior management is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and a positive, child-friendly attitude.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
