Job Description

This role requires specialized training to address the unique dental issues and preventive needs of young patients. Pediatric Dentists work in a child-friendly environment, providing both routine dental care and specialized treatments for children with a variety of oral health challenges. Their goal is to foster a positive dental experience, ensuring that children grow into adults with good oral health practices.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct regular oral examinations and cleanings
• Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and misaligned teeth
• Perform preventative treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Create treatment plans for dental health issues
• Administer anesthesia for dental procedures when necessary
• Offer emergency dental care and treatment for injuries
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive child care
• Manage dental anxiety and build trust with young patients
• Monitor the growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Use specialized equipment designed for children's dental care
• Keep accurate and thorough patient records
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric dental care

Pediatric Dentist Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry
• Experience working in a pediatric dental office
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle dental emergencies
• Familiarity with the latest pediatric dental technology
• Proficiency in managing dental anxiety in children
• Bilingual skills for better communication with diverse patient populations
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Completed a pediatric dentistry residency program
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state
• In-depth knowledge of children's dental health needs
• Excellent manual dexterity and precision
• Ability to work with children and manage behavioral challenges
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
