Mobile Area Cleaner Contract: Government Location: Sunbury, TW16 6AH Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Permanent The Mobile Area Cleaner will oversee the mobile cleaning operation across designated client sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, cost efficiency, and effective team management. Job Description Based primarily at the Sunbury location, you will manage daily cleaning activities here, while also covering a few smaller sites within Surrey. While this role includes the supervision of two staff members, it remains a hands-on cleaning position, ideal for someone who values both leadership and active engagement in their work. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a new client contract with exposure to a range of client sites, adding variety to the day-to-day tasks. Key Responsibilities Support and guide operatives to achieve service levels for cleaning services regionally Regular checks and cleans to specified areas in accordance with the specification Respond to cleaning requests as required Follow company procedures and systems as laid down Adhere to security procedures and policies at all times Maintain relationships with customers and fellow employees Control and maintenance of all consumable stocks and equipment at each site Ensure opening and lockup procedure including alarms is known for each location Ensure store-rooms are tidy and stock stored correctly Record every visit to site Carry out flushing of taps and little used outlets when on site and record on site Carry out site inductions for new recruits and contractors Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Experience of supervising and developing others Ability to maintaining cleaning services in a diverse region, with some out of region travelling required at times, with notice Health and Safety management experience Proven track record in the cleaning industry Mobility and the use of vehicles to deliver mobile cleaning services
