Do you have previous experience working within Accounts? If so, we have the role for you! We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client?s fast-paced team based in Tamworth Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm ? office-based. In this role, you will provide support to the Accounts department by performing finance and administration tasks including processing and recording transactions. As the Accounts Assistant, your duties will include: Reconciling bank accounts including foreign currency Posting stock invoices Posting non-stock invoices including selecting appropriate nominal codes Analysing credit card statements and posting of the same Analysing expenses and posting of the samePosting sales ledger cash Reviewing the post ? distributing around the departments Distributing purchase invoices to the appropriate teams & keeping a log of invoices awaiting approval Filing and scanning of all documents Assisting with controls & month end procedures
Previous experience working in a similar position Strong communication and attention to detail skills Excellent organisational skills and be methodical in your approach Good computer skills including knowledge and experience with MS Office including Excel You may have experience working in any of the following: Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk, Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, Credit Control, Finance Administrator or any other similar position within Accounts
