Job Description

Working for our prestigious public sector client you will bring deep subject expertise to the specialist area and work in close partnership with a designated Head of Commercial (Business Partner) . You will promote strong co?ordination and technical consistency across your designated portfolio as well as identifying cross cutting and strategic procurement opportunities. You will demonstrate deep commercial awareness and technical expertise across your area of specialism. You will need to build good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and particularly with your Head of Commercial (Business Partner) as well as commissioners, senior managers, budget holders and other specialists who are involved all stages of the tender process through to contract award.

Requirements

    * You will have deep subject expertise and credibility in the people business* A thorough understanding of the end-to-end commissioning or procurement process and the key inputs that are required to deliver successful outcomes, including those covered by PCR regulations; * Demonstrable track record in thinking strategically whilst maintaining a strong focus on service delivery.* You will be highly experienced in developing and maintaining productive relationships, including those with key stakeholders and external organisations.* You will have an ability to work independently or with others to deliver discreet projects and produced written and verbal summaries* The ability and confidence to work effectively with people at all levels internally and externally.* Customer focus and the ability to build empathy and trust.* The ability to challenge and influence effectively.* Emotional resilience.
