Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit a Developer on an initial 6 month contractual basis. Hybrid working, you will be required to attend client offices in either Glasgow or Edinburgh on a weekly basis.You will receive a daily rate of up to 460 and the contract will be outside IR35.Our client is looking for an experience developer with solid commercial AWS development experience to accelerate organisation move to new cloud-native solutions. The focus of the work will be the collaborative development of new serverless micro-services using AWS Lambda functions and Typescript/JavaScript.

Requirements

Making excellent quality software with other people. Working with business stakeholders, to understand the context, and to focus on delivering value. Design and implementation of solutions using a service-based and serverless architecture. Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills Experience working in the Agile delivery models - such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks. Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes Formal XP engineering techniques, including Pair Programming and Test-Driven Development Defining infrastructure-as-code
