This role as a Lead Planner requires an individual with outstanding organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing planning and supply chain operations within an FMCG environment. Description The position of Lead Planner will be responsible for: Oversee the procurement and supply chain operations Implement effective plans to optimise efficiency and productivity Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies Monitor and report on supply chain performance Identify opportunities for process improvements Lead and mentor a team of planners Profile A successful Lead Planner should have: A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field Proven experience in an FMCG procurement and supply chain environment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities Thorough understanding of supply chain processes and regulations Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail Experience of systems implementations would be highly beneficial Job Offer An attractive salary range of £(phone number removed) per annum A supportive and inclusive company culture Opportunities for professional development within the Food industry Scope to build the role to Head of Planning / Supply Chain
