Service Engineer- Fire Alarms

Job Description

ohnson Controls is looking for an On-Site Fire Alarm Engineer for one of our clients in the Southwest of the UK. We need someone will have excellent communication and customer service skills along with strong fire alarm experience to work along side a team of on-site engineers. Our engineers can deal with new and unexpected situations with a proactive and professional approach and have the ability to work on and improve systems to high standards.Being part of a team on a nuclear power station has unique challenges that will require a great attention to detail, a commitment to completing works required as per the customer’s unique and changing needs, and ability to take responsibility for, and drive the works of the team present on site year-round.

Requirements

Experience on Nuclear power stations and their regulations.Excellent communication and customer service skills. People management skills with the ability to develop and supervise a team, preferably within a field role.Ability to deal with new and unexpected situations with a proactive and professional approach. Ability to build strong relationships and inspire and influence others.Electrical experience ideally within the Fire Detection industryMUST hold a Full driving license.Relevant gas suppression experience (CO2, Inergen & Novec), and passive fire protection equipment is desirable.Must be willing to travel for training when required
