The ability to multi-task and be able to plan work effectively, ensuring tasks are undertaken in order of priority Good technical skills including fault finding and decision making. Strong oral, written and presentational skills with a particular aptitude for report and documentation writing Effective interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective communication at various levels to both internal and external personnel An understanding of Health and Safety, and relevant legislation such as Ionising Radiation Regulations, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations, Asbestos, Control of Lead at Work (CLAW), Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations, CDM Regulations, Controlling Airborne contaminants at work (HSG258) Practical knowledge and experience in the Thorough, Examination and Test of LEV ventilation plant and LEV Commissioning is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate Ideally, we would expect candidates to have an ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent vocational qualification
