Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious and innovative Senior Commercial Manager to work within a high-profile and prestigious brand within M&E & infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a self motivated and driven individual who will lead on all all commercial aspects relating to MEP within the rail sector inclusive of potential, existing and new contracts across a portfolio of clients. You will be accountable for managing commercial risk and communicating this across a variety of stakeholders within the business. You will be responsible for the Profit and Loss management of the sector and projects under your stewardship.Requirements

Previous experience within a Senior QS or Commercial Manager positionProven experience of client managementProven experience of negotiationPrevious experience working in a Tier 1 contractorPrevious experience working within large MEP projectsPrevious experience working within the M&E sectorKnowledge and comprehensive understanding of NEC contracts (all options)Demonstratable knowledge/understanding of Construction law and standard forms of contractKnowledge of Engineering and client standardsA working understanding of valuation techniques of construction works including elemental cost analysis of items such as labour, materials, plant, sub-contract and general expensesExperience of tendering and pre-contract cost analysis
