The role of Warehouse Shift Leader in Coventry will involve managing a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatch of customer orders, maintaining stock integrity, motivating the team and monitoring performance. The firm is based in Coventry and is keen on harnessing innovative logistics solutions to ensure seamless operations. Description The role of Warehouse Shift Leader in Coventry will involve: Working Monday to Friday 16:00-00:00. Ensure the smooth running of goods-in, stock control, pick/pack and put-away. Manage the safe loading of vehicles on dispatch. Ensure the team work to and exceed KPI targets and report performance. Managing the team performance effectively with good communication and clear instructions. Monitoring Health & Safety and conducting regular checks. Handle disciplinary matters in a professional manner. Manage holidays and staffing levels on the shift. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed. Profile A successful Warehouse Shift Leader should have: Team management experience. A comprehensive knowledge of warehouse processes (inbound, stock control, put-away, pick/pack and dispatch). Excellent IT skills inc. WMS and Excel. Strong communication skills. Excellent problem solving abilities. A good understanding of staff performance management. A good understanding of Health and Safety. A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain. Job Offer The role of Warehouse Shift Leader benefits from: An excellent salary of £33,000 per annum. A shift allowance of £2,500 per annum.
