Job Description
As an PDI Inspector you will be inspecting new build yachts to make sure the finish has been completed to the highest standard. The role comes with multiple responsibilities that must be handled with precision; including:Checking for damage or defects;Walk around inspections, using check-list on iPad;Demonstration of parts to see if installed and working correctly;Accurate data entry to relay information to the workshop.Requirements

The ideal Candidate will have some knowledge of boats, you'll know your Bow from your Stern, have an understanding of Motor Yacht terms (such as Galley, Heads, Cabin, Cockpit, Deck) although this can be taught - most importantly you'll need to have a keen eye for detail. You'll need to be mobile, you'll need to be able to get in and out of the smaller areas such as the bilges. A driving licence will be beneficial, but isn't essential providing you can reliably commute to the PL9 area in Plymouth.
