Role Overview: As an Energy and Sustainability Consultant, you will be at the forefront of sustainable building practices, working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project managers. Your role will involve providing data-driven insights to optimise building performance and ensure adherence to environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth energy modelling using IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) software to evaluate and improve building energy performance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate energy-efficient strategies into building design and construction. Provide expert advice on sustainability, helping projects meet or exceed energy efficiency targets. Prepare detailed reports summarising modelling results, analyses, and actionable recommendations. Ensure compliance with UK energy regulations, including Approved Documents Part L, Part F, and Part O, as well as other sustainability standards. Guide clients through energy legislation and regulatory requirements. Stay informed on the latest advancements in sustainability frameworks and energy modelling practices. Qualifications: Proven experience in energy modelling using IES software. Strong understanding of UK energy regulations and sustainability certifications. Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers. Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
