Job Description
Our client, who are a freight forwarder, are looking for a Customs Clerk to join their team in Braintree, UK.
As Customs Clerk, you will be tasked to co-ordinate all import and export activities in relation to all things customs-related.
Job type: Permanent
Requirements
- Working experience of Exports/Imports & Customs Compliance and regulations (at least 2 years' experience in the UK)
- Knowledge of customs requirements and formalities, with a particular focus on UK & EU imports
- Right to work in the UK
- Working knowledge of the CDS system, both Imports and Exports
- HMRC amendment and reclaim experience
- Proficient with Microsoft packages, especially Excel and other Microsoft applications
