Job Description
Cedar Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading Engineering organisation in recruiting for a experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.The role is permanent and will be working within the Commercial Team, predominantly on a large scale rail infrastructure project with the view to pick up smaller framework projects along the way.You will be ensuring that projects are running in accordance to the budgeted forecast, and to maximise profit through cost control and the optimisation of variations to the Works.Requirements

Understand standard forms of contractsExperience of working within an M&E settingHave a minimum of 4 years relevant experienceExperience of tendering and pre-contract cost analysisUnderstands conflict avoidance, conflict management and dispute resolution proceduresNegotiating, settling and agreement of Interim / Final Accounts
