The Company: Henderson Brown Procurement & Supply Chain team are working with a leading food manufacturer to hire a Senior Commodity Manager. This company specialises in food products and is known for its high-quality and sustainable products. The Senior Procurement Manager will be managing a direct report and liaising with suppliers worldwide across volatile commodities, They will own the ingredients category sourcing strategy and be accountable for leading the strategy to optimize growth, environmental/social targets, cost, and quality. Additionally, you will mitigate supply failure risks, and drive continuous improvement. This role is based near the Cambridgeshire area with a hybrid setup of on-site 3 days a week, remainder from home. Responsibilities: * Drive a strategic category management approach * Lead the team to build a positive culture and development * Lead new procurement initiatives to deliver best-in-class * Manage the commodity risk strategy and ESG/Sustainability strategy Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in a similar role with commodity category management * Managed a direct report * Sustainability and risk management lifecycle Benefits: * Up to £85,000 salary * Bonus opportunities * Private healthcare If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge, please submit your credentials to (url removed).
