The company is a leading global systems integrator for intralogistics solutions, a foundation-based company, that focuses on growing together. They have a great opportunity for a Resident Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This position is well-suited to a candidate with good communication skills to ensure that a professional relationship with the end client is developed and maintained at all times. This position is based on site at the end customers premises and answers to the Site Engineering Manager. You will provide a broad based electrical, mechanical, FM and software first line fix with a right first time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site's performance. Responsibilities: Reactive and preventative maintenance activities of the automated equipment on site Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency ensuring that the customers' orders are not missed Comply to all current, future health and safety legislation at all times Continually improve the performance of the equipment and how you work Actively work with the customer to optimise the automation performance Co-ordinate all planned preventive maintenance activities with the wider resident engineering team Lead / support any automation breakdowns and escalations

Requirements

Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in an engineering discipline Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment Experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems is preferable. Excellent communication skills and customer focus Ability to work in a time critical environment.
