Finance Director | Trafford Park (Manchester) | £90,000-£110,000, plus car, bonus, commensurate benefits | Rapid Growth SME Zachary Daniels Finance are exclusively representing this rapidly growing, entrepreneurially owned SME who has already made impressive strides in the last 10 years. This business already boasts some high profile clients & partners and is on a trajectory to be c.£150m turnover in the next few years. About the Finance Director role This Finance Director role will truly take responsibility of everything related to finance and with it being a high growth SME, there will be many occasions that require the role holder to get involved in other things outside of finance. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in an FD role gained within a high growth setting. The role will lead and develop a medium sized team. The pace of this business cannot be understated and it requires someone who thrives in this environment, juggling multiple conflicting priorities and can work with an entrepreneurial Owner, Chair and MD. There are several businesses within the group and there is likely to be Merger & Acquisition (M&A) as well as transaction activity on the horizon. Key responsibilities Hands on FD responsibility, knowing the detail and being aureate and on-time. Overall management, coaching and development of the finance function including management accounts, financial accounts, transactional and CC Contract management is key to the business and so will form a significant part of the role Review of monthly accounts and performance Oversee Cash flow forecasts and plan cash management accordingly Decision support, commercial finance, budget & forecast Treasury management including invoice financing, banking relationships Management of audit, insurance and legal relationships Person profile ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (5+ years PQE) Previous experience in a high growth SME setting. Strong character, excellent stakeholder management and communication ability, straight talker, strong principles. FD or Head of Finance experience within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment closely linked with operational industries (Manufacturing, Logistics, Transport, Logistics, Food, Consumer) Previous experience managing all elements of a finance function Energy, enthusiasm and motivation to facilitate change and challenge existing practices Demonstrable experience of working with senior stakeholders in and out of finance Finance Director Package £90,000-£110,000, plus car, bonus, commensurate benefits
