About the Role: We’re on the hunt for a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a vibrant team. You’ll be at the forefront of designing and developing state-of-the-art mechanical systems (HVAC building services engineering) across a diverse range of projects in the Southwest. Key Responsibilities: Spearhead the mechanical design process from initial concepts through to detailed designs and implementation. Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical services and systems. Produce comprehensive drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulations, and specific project requirements. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members. Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliver tailored solutions. Your Profile: Extensive experience in mechanical design (HVAC/building services engineering), particularly in a senior or lead role. In-depth knowledge of building services engineering systems, components, and design software. Well-versed in industry standards and regulations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver exceptional results within deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or a related discipline. Ideally, membership with MCIBSE or a similar professional body (desirable but not essential).
