Our client, a prominent player in their industry, is looking for a Senior Payables Analyst to join their Finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a critical part in shaping the financial landscape of their business and driving successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Process PO and Non-PO invoices, including matching and coding of expense types. Post multi-currency and urgent business payments in line with policies and procedures. Ensure Direct Debit payments are processed in compliance with company policies. Prepare payment runs and maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies promptly. Prepare supplier statement reconciliations. Collaborate with Financial Reporting, Commercial Finance, and the Treasury Team to resolve accounting and cash book queries. Assist the Payables Team Leader with month-end processes, ensuring all tasks are completed Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve queries and support business objectives. Participate in ad-hoc projects, including Finance Transformation initiatives and system improvements. What We’re Looking For: AAT qualified or actively pursuing a professional qualification. Solid knowledge of P2P processes, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong MS Excel skills and a proven ability to support process improvement. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial data effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work harmoniously across teams.
