Situated in Widnes, I am currently hiring an experienced Transport Planner to join a large organisation specializing in Road Haulage into the renewables sector across the UK. They are in search of a skilled Transport Planner to enhance the existing transport operation, playing a key role in supporting the logistics function and providing customers with a seamless end-to-end solution for their transport needs.
Requirements
Transport Planning experience for HGVs is essentialProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Flexible and adaptable approach to work.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational abilities.Solid understanding of Working Time Directive and driver regulations.Good geographical knowledge.Proven ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external colleagues.Previous experience in transport planning or operations.
