Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working on a variety of construction and civil engineering projects based in Carlisle and surrounding areas. As part of a dynamic team, you will manage the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost control and profitability while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

    Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction and civil engineering sectors.Strong understanding of cost management, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.Excellent knowledge of contract law, standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT), and construction regulations.Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Excel, cost estimation, and project management software.Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.Full UK driving license.
