Our client is a market-leading international retailer known for their innovative approach and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a Retail Finance Analyst to drive the success of their area and the wider business within the Commercial Finance teams. You'll work closely with the Commercial Finance Retail Controller and senior leadership to drive financial performance and improve processes. Finance Analyst Responsibilities: Drive financial performance by managing sales profitability, cost control (stock loss, labor, store costs), and challenging performance across the retail function. Implement process improvements in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Introduce store profit and loss accounts through training and performance reviews. Support Heads of Region and Area Managers to enhance financial profitability and business decisions. Lead quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting, ensuring consistency in reporting and reviews. Finance Analyst Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities. Resilience and adaptability under pressure with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset. Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant with advanced Excel skills and experience in multi-site environments.
