As a Behaviour Support, you will work closely with teachers and the schools pastoral team to provide targeted support to students who may be experiencing behavioural difficulties. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing behaviour management strategies, supporting students social and emotional development, and helping to maintain a calm and focused classroom atmosphere
Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges, is highly desirable.A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students who may have complex needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.A commitment to supporting the social, emotional, and behavioural development of young people.Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students and the school environment.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.An updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
