Job Description
Develop detailed CAD drawings for flat roofing systems, including specifications for hot melt roofing, green roofs, liquid roofing, and felt roofing.Collaborate with project managers and roofing engineers to ensure designs meet technical and regulatory standards, particularly for waterproofing and insulation in flat roofing systems.Select appropriate roofing materials and detailing, ensuring compatibility with various flat roofing types like hot melt and liquid roofing.Conduct site visits to assess existing roofing conditions and incorporate findings into CAD designs, focusing on optimizing green roof and felt roofing installations.Update and revise CAD drawings as needed during project execution, ensuring accurate implementation of flat roofing solutions, including green roofs and hot melt systemsRequirements

Proven experience in designing flat roofing systems, with specific knowledge of hot melt roofing, green roofs, liquid roofing, and felt roofing.Proficient with CAD AND Revit, or Navisworks etc. with a focus on 3D roofing & construction drawingsIn-depth understanding of various flat roofing materials, including the benefits and limitations of hot melt, green roof, and felt roofing systems.Strong grasp of structural and waterproofing requirements specific to flat roofs, including the ability to create detailed section drawings for liquid roofing and other systems.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams on roofing projects.
