Job Title: Facilities Manager Location: Whiston, Liverpool Salary: Up to £53,250 + Company Car About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our site operations in Whiston, Liverpool. In this role, you will lead a team of 9 operatives, managing both reactive workload and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure high standards of performance and safety. Key Responsibilities: Lead, support, and motivate a team of 9 operatives to complete daily facilities tasks effectively. Manage and prioritize reactive workload alongside a robust PPM schedule to maintain smooth operations. Oversee the management of site water systems, ensuring compliance and quality. Act as Responsible Person (RP) for water systems, with an option for Gas RP if desired. Looking after ventilation systems, opportunity to become a AP if desired. Collaborate with engineering teams, utilizing technical insights to optimize maintenance processes. Management and Audit of Contractors ensuring completion of all PPM’S and reported remedial works Key Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in a hands-on, team-based environment. Engineering background or relevant technical experience preferred. Knowledge of water, gas and ventilation systems management. (Training provided if required for RP roles.) Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on health, safety, and compliance. Benefits: Competitive salary up to £53,250. Company car provided.
