Job Description

Lead and manage the design process for new build care home projects from inception to completion.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design specifications are met.Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.Oversee the preparation and review of design drawings, plans, and specifications.Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design integrity is maintained.Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and incorporate their feedback into the design process.Continuously seek innovative solutions and improvements in design to enhance the quality and efficiency of our projects.

Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.A minimum of 10 years' experience in design management, preferably within the care home or later living sectors.Strong knowledge of building regulations and standards.Proven track record of successfully managing multiple design projects simultaneously.Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage external stakeholders.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
